The PX-LB950UE features the all-new Superspeed USB3.0 and eSATA connections which provide bandwidth for super fast data transfer rate and shorten burn time The drive is backward compatible with USB 2.0 allowing great flexibility to connect any Notebook, Netbook, and PCs.

The PX-LB950UE is designed to improve user's experience. A special chassis channels the airflow and cools the motor which improves performance and extends the lifetime of the drive. The PX-LB950UE has a low vibration system which eliminates vibrations and a large 8MB buffer which ensures the enhanced writing accuracy at high speed. The PX-LB950UE includes a comprehensive software bundled to play and record blu-rays, DVDs, and CDs. The software also supports 3D playback and capable of converting 2D contents to simulate 3D. In addition to its playback options, the PX-LB950UE can record a 25GB single-layer disc in an unprecedented 12 minutes and offers a substantial 50GB of data storage on each double-layer Blu-ray disc.
