Answer

If you have a NTFS formatted hard disk, you can capture MPEG-1, MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 files of any size. In the WinDVD Creator Software, go to Tools/Options/Output Format and select "Maximum space allowed by file system". You should now be able to capture files larger than 4GB. For the DivX format, you cannot capture files larger than 4GB. This is due to a DivX limitation. If you have a FAT32 formatted hard disk, you cannot capture files larger than 4GB. This is a limitation of the file system structure. Files will be automatically split so they will be less than 4GB. To check the formatting of your hard disk, right click on your hard disk icon and select Properties. Select the General tab and the formatting of the hard disk will be listed.
